GODADDY AND THE NOKIA SYNDROME: MORONS AT THE GATE!

Morons at the Gate

IF THERE WAS EVER A CASE FOR EXAMINING STUPID BEHAVIOR, GODADDY IS IT!

Godaddy and the Nokia Syndrome: Morons at the Gate! Two-step verification gone wrong!

A MORON BY DEFINITION

By definition, a MORON is a stupid person; a fool, idiot, ass, blockhead, dunce, dolt, ignoramus, imbecile, cretin, dullard, simpleton, clod; and on and on and on. Can a business be a MORON or just plain negligent? When Nokia went out business, all they could say was that they didn’t do anything wrong. This seems to be case with Godaddy these days…

A MORON, GODADDY, CASE IN POINT!

Case in point, a faithful and loyal customer for over 5 years– I entered into a customer – business proposition that essentially was a mutual agreement for services agreed upon and rendered. That was until about a couple of weeks ago when all of a sudden I was locked out of my account and treated like an alien from outer space against the Avengers with hostile intent and no mercy! Essentially the customer proposition was violated and no “Force de Majeure” or act of God, but hostile, malicious and willful intent to violate the terms of a legitimate business agreement with extreme prejudice and destructive consequences for the business. I was also traumatized by the prospect of long-term outages because of a couple of MORONS (in my opinion) on the phone decided to “@#$%” over a long-term customer agreement because of some new policy implementation (two-step verification) that went woefully wrong. For which most of the those answering the phone don’t even know about themselves– MORONS AT THE GATE!

MORONS AT THE GATE: GODADDY, TRY TWO-STEP VERIFICATION AND ENTER IF YOU CAN

When shown 5 years worth of data via email and evidence that I was indeed who I was, they chose to ignore it and continue my hardship and distress– GODADDY MORON AT GATE! I t would seem in any business situation that at some point, someone with business savvy, common sense and in a position of authority could see there was a problem with the implementation of the new two-step verification and authentication system using Google Authenticator, but no– MORONS AT GATE! PLENTY OF THEM CAN’T YOU SEE? GODADDY AND THE NOKIA SYNDROME, WE DIDN’T DO ANYTHING WRONG…

I don’t usually rant and rave, but in this case, I thought I’d make an exception because of the stark abuse of power of such a monopoly and giant in the web hosting business who essentially is holding my business and me hostage– what a terrifying ordeal and experience– MORONS AT THE GATE! MAKE THEM PAY BIG-TIME!

MORONS AT THE GATE, MORONS AT THE GATE, MORONS AT THE GATE– DON’T LET THEM IN! TRY TWO-STEP VERIFICATION IF YOU CAN.
